How can I book?

We operate a number of ways to book, including with our very own booking agency at this link  (preferred), or through telephone booking.  A credit/debit card is required to secure the room.

What is the earliest and latest check in times?

A.

Our check in times are 4pm to 10pm, but please ring in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you if outside of these times.

What is your cancellation procedure?

A.

Should the unfortunate happen and you have to cancel, our procedure is as follows (all times quoted are before arrival date):

  • Cancellation with 3 days notice there will be no charge
  • Cancellation with less than 3 days notice will incur full charge up to a maximum 2 nights of stay
  • For example, to cancel a stay starting on a Monday please notify us by Thursday to incur no charge. Credit card details already given may be used to settle outstanding invoices

What happens if I lose my key?

A.

Unfortunately lost keys will incur a £30 charge as we would have to change the front door and bedroom door locks.  You are more than welcome to leave your key at reception to avoid the possibility of losing the key.

Can I bring a pet?

A.

Yes, on request in certain rooms subject to a small additional cleaning charge.  Please contact us prior to booking to check the availability of a designated room.

Is there a charge for internet access?

A.

No, it is available in all rooms and public spaces free of charge.  Collect a code from reception.

Do you have secure bike storage?

A.

Yes, whether you are cycling the Leeds/Liverpool canal or elsewhere, we can securley store your bikes.

Can I check in early as I am staying with you to attend a local wedding? Is there an extra charge?

A.

We are happy to be flexible, please ring to confirm time of arrival and there is no extra charge.

How far are you from the Train station, and how do I get to you?

We are only 1.5 miles from the train station, and taxis are available

Where can I eat?

A.

Monday to Thursday the Maple Lodge operates a dining room, Guests are allowed to use our dining room for takeaways between 6pm and 10pm..

There are numerous restaurants, pubs, and food establishments within a short drive or walk to the Maple Lodge.

Guests are not allowed to have takeaways in their bedroom; any damage caused by these actions will be charged.
